Who is this Certification Pathway for?

This pathway may be a strong fit if you are a:

  • HR professional responsible for team development
  • Consultant who works with leadership teams
  • Coach supporting executives, managers, or departments
  • Trainer or facilitator delivering people-development programs
  • Organizational development professional
  • People leader responsible for team culture
  • Business owner who wants a practical framework for team effectiveness

It may also be a fit if your organization already uses The Five Behaviors and wants an internal credentialed practitioner who can help keep the work alive after the initial training.

Why The Five Behaviors Certification Matters

What You Learn in The Five Behaviors Certification

During the certification experience, participants are introduced to the model, solution portfolio, facilitation approach, and practical delivery methods.

The course is designed to help participants:

  • Deepen their understanding of The Five Behaviors model and key principles
  • Become familiar with the Five Behaviors solution portfolio, including Team Development and Personal Development
  • Build, customize, and deliver Five Behaviors learning experiences
  • Address unique team development needs
  • Practice facilitation techniques
  • Receive peer feedback in a supportive environment
  • Access Wiley’s online training center and course resources

The goal is not just to understand the model. The goal is to prepare practitioners to facilitate meaningful learning experiences that help teams work more effectively.

A one-time team workshop can create awareness.

But real team development requires reinforcement, shared language, and someone who can continue guiding the conversation after the workshop ends.

That is why many organizations benefit from having a credentialed professional who understands The Five Behaviors model and can help apply it inside the team culture.

For consultants, coaches, and trainers, certification can also support a stronger client-facing offer around team effectiveness, communication, leadership alignment, and workplace culture.
